Hole 1

A par 5 to start, which is a slighty downhill & a dog leg left.

A right to left ball flight from the tee is the correct way to play this hole, do not get greedy from the tee as the further you hit the norrowwer it gets!

Remember the green runs to the right.

Hole 1

Hole 2

A par 3, always play for the middle of the green. A hazard awaits right & trees await left of the green.

Get the yardage to the middle & play to there.

Hole 1

Hole 3

A par 4, dog leg left, a very tricky hole.

Play to the post from the tee, their is a small pond to the left to watch out for. The green slopes dramatically from back to fron & left to right. A two putt is always good on this hole!

Hole 1

Hole 4

A par 5, slight dog leg to the right & up hill.

Aim for the house from the tee & carry the small hazard. Keep your next shots further left than you think until the green is within pitching distance as a large bunker guards the front right!

The green slopes right to left.

Hole 1

Hole 5

A par 4 which is 90 degree dog leg right.

Do not be greedy from the white tee’s, play down the middle & this should leave a mid iron to a fairly flat green. Out of bounds is over the back of the green.

Hole 1

Hole 6

A par 4 which is rated the 2nd hardest hole on the course. A straight forward tee shot but be aware a ditch lies across the fairway at 280yards from the white tees. Bunkers guard the green right & left, a small entrance is available on the left side of the green.

Hole 1

Hole 7

Slinfold's signature hole. This par 3 played of the back tees is a tough test. With the steep bank collecting any shot finishing left of the green and a bunker short and long right an accurate mid iron shot is needed.

Hole 1

Hole 8

A tough par 4 with a long tee shot required to give you the best chance of holding your approach shot to the green. A tee shot finishing down the right hand side of the fairway will leave the best approach shot in. Make sure you don't go long or left as a hazard will await.

Hole 1

Hole 9

An accurate tee shot down the left hand side will give the best chance at avoiding the greenside bunker for your approach shot to the newly designed green. The big hitters can make the green however the pond will collect any tee shot finishing left.

Hole 1

Hole 10

An intimidating tee shot over the pond will require a well struck tee shot. Bunkers to the left and short of the green will pick up any miss hit shot so consider taking extra club for your approach.

Hole 1

Hole 11

A tee shot finishing anywhere on the green for this tough par 3 is a good shot. One of the more undulating greens at Slinfold will mean a par on this hole is a good score.

Hole 1

Hole 12

A long and tight par 4 with out of bonds left of the fairway will mean a tee shot favouring the right hand side of the fairway. Try not to get too clever with your approach shot as Out of bounds left and water right awaits any miss hit approach shot. A par on this hole is a great score.

Hole 1

Hole 13

A dog leg left par 4. Big hitters can get close to the green but they carry the tree! The sensible golfer will keep right, this leaves a straight forward approach to a very tricky green!

Hole 1

Hole 14

long uphill par 5, you must keep your tee shot up the right hand side for a view of the green, a good second shot will leave around 100 yards but be careful of the bunker to the right side of the green!

Hole 1

Hole 15

This is a short dog leg right. Hit an iron off the tee to set up an approach shot into the green, but be aware of the  bunkers rightof the green which will catch the pushed approach shot.

Hole 1

Hole 16

A short par three but don't be fooled by the yardage! With bunkers on the left side of the green, and a water hazard on the right, hitting the green is paramount in making a score on this short par 3,

Hole 1

Hole 17

Dog leg left, a solid tee shot at the black and white post will open up the green for a second shot of about 160 yards. However, the second shot is made difficult by the bunkers short and right!

Hole 1

Hole 18

ough finishing hole. A long tee shot up the left will open up the hole leaving a narrow second shot through the tree line. With a large bunker short left, this hole is not taken lightly!
